This dress doesn’t have the back story. In fact, the dress has a simple story. After cutting out the Burda 6990 Turtleneck and the M Bodysuit, I had enough fabric remaining to cut out this dress.
There are only 4 pattern pieces — sleeves, skirt, front and back bodices. In under an hour, I had a new knit summer dress. Cheers! By far one of the easiest dresses I have ever made. I only made one alteration to it. I cut a second front bodice piece and treated like underlining just incase my the first jersey became sheer when stretched.
